What are Kiddie World’s hours of operation? Does the center close for any holidays?
Kiddie World is open 52 weeks per year, Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 6:00pm.
Kiddie World is closed on the following holidays:
*New Year’s Day ,*Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day & Day After,
*Christmas Eve–Closed or Early Closing at 1:00pm, Memorial Day Labor Day, *Christmas Day
*If this holiday falls on a weekend, the observed weekday(s) will be posted.

Is the Kiddie World staff trained to administer medications?
Yes – See the Parent Handbook for policies and procedures.

Is Kiddie World a safe and secure environment for my child?
Yes – All entrances remain locked throughout the day. Parents receive a security key tab allowing them access to the center.

How does the center maintain a clean and healthy environment for children?
The center sets and adheres to high standards of cleanliness. Disinfecting cleaning solutions are used for all bathrooms and diaper changing stations. Staff is trained to keep children healthy using techniques discouraging the spread of germs such as proper hand washing skills.

May I visit the center during the day?
Yes – Parents and other primary family members are encouraged to visit the center and to meet their child’s teachers and friends.

What are the educational levels of the Kiddie World teachers?
Kiddie World Early Learning Center teachers are CPR and child fi rst-aid certifi ed. Infant, explorer and toddler teachers have a minimum of a CDA (Childhood Development Associate) Certifi cate. Preschool teachers have a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education college credits. Teachers
increase their early childhood development skills through continuing educational classes, seminars and workshops, which are age-appropriate for the children they care for and educate.

Is Kiddie World a state licensed center?
Yes – We are a state licensed center.

What types of communication will I have with the center regarding my child?
Each morning at drop-off parents will have the opportunity to speak with their child’s teacher and transfer any important information regarding their child. Throughout the day parents are welcome to contact the center to see how their child is doing. Each parent will also receive a Daily Contact Sheet at pick-up, which outlines their child’s daily activities.

Who can pick my child up?
Parents may pick up their children or authorize others to pick up. Alternate pick-up persons will need proof of proper identifi cation.

What is the deposit and enrollment fee?
There is a two week non-refundable deposit and enrollment fee. The deposit will be applied to your last two weeks of tuition.

How is tuition submitted?
Parents may choose to submit payments monthly or weekly. If monthly, an invoice will be mailed to your home for the following month’s services. If weekly, tuition will be automatically deducted on Mondays from either a savings or checking account using the EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) system.

Are there any family discounts?
Yes – A 10% discount is extended to families enrolling two or more full-time children.
A 10% discount on the lower tuition is extended to families enrolling two or more part-time children.

What is the center’s vacation policy?
After being enrolled for one year, full-time children receive two weeks vacation and part-time children receive one week vacation during which tuition is not required.
